2021 Westmere Cabernet Shiraz - 6 pack

This small batch Cabernet Shiraz blend brings together the elegance of Bool Lagoon Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) with the richness and spice of Barossa Shiraz (30%). The Cabernet provides structure and regional definition, while the Shiraz adds depth, generosity and a plush mid-palate. Matured in a selection of French oak hogsheads, both new and seasoned, the wine has developed complexity and balance, showcasing the strengths of both regions and varieties.
 
Colour: Deep crimson with a dark purple hue
Aroma: Lifted aromatics of blackcurrant and mulberry, layered with plum, subtle spice and hints of cedar and dark chocolate
Palate: Medium to full bodied with fine, structured tannins. The Cabernet drives a firm backbone of cassis and dark berry, while the Shiraz contributes richness, spice and a velvety texture. Well-balanced with a long, persistent finish
